The columns that need attention
Close doesn't mean identical. These BigCommerce columns break the import if left untouched:
Common Scenarios:
- Product Name vs Title: the importer only reads Title, so an untouched export produces blank product names.
- Product Code vs Variant SKU: BigCommerce's code column must be renamed or Shopify imports products with empty SKUs.
- Image File: BigCommerce sometimes exports local paths like images/1.jpg instead of full URLs, which Shopify cannot fetch.
