Where clearance repricing goes wrong
Clearance repricing fails in the same places every season:
Common Scenarios:
- Manual edits: touching 300 rows one by one guarantees typos and missed products.
- Naive rounding: a .99 rule that turns 36.00 into 36.99 after a discount, silently raising prices.
- Compare-at mistakes: forgetting to set Compare At Price removes the strikethrough that makes a sale look like a sale.
Run the rule in the browser
ShopTools' bulk price editor applies your discount, sets Compare At Price and rounds safely - margin-aware and formula-free - then exports a clean CSV ready for import.
Features:
- Discount rule: Percentage off applied to every Variant Price
- Compare-at sync: Old price becomes Compare At automatically
- Safe rounding: .99 rounding never raises a discounted price
